OUTSTANDING LNI´S STUDENTS
PARTICIPATION IN ACADEMIC INTERCHANGE PROGRAM
Mr. Gustavo Adolfo Ramírez Paredes
Head of the Department of International Business
Last February
27, was held a meeting in the Lecture Room of the Campus, with students of the
Bachelor of International Business, who participated in the Institutional
Academic interchange Program, during the semester 2012-2013/1. The main purpose
was to listen to their academic and personal experiences in the different destination
universities and communities where they resided.
The meeting
was attended by 14 students who took part in international and 5 in national interchange.
The attendees expressed the virtues of the program, which enabled them to
acquire other skills, enrich their formation and take class with prominent
academicians, as well as to be part of every day’s life in different places of
our country and abroad, knowing other customs and interacting with other
cultures.
At the same
time, the students highlighted, how transcendental it was for their lives the participation
in the Academic Interchange Program, as it allowed them to mature, be independent
and grow as individuals. Even some of them said they advanced in their
development as persons, assuming activities that they didn´t do before. The
program, noted, also gave them discipline, responsibility, and commitment.
They thanked
our Institute for providing them the opportunity of being part of national and
international academic interchange and pointed out the importance of the
program to remain in order to continue providing opportunities of projection to
the new generations of students of International Business.
The meeting
brought together a group of brilliant students who decided to step forward and,
doubly, will be the leaders of tomorrow. With great enthusiasm and freshness each
one was telling her/his experience, assembling an interesting international
collage, recounting how the ones that participate in universities outside of
Mexico, felt as ambassadors of our country in the place where they resided and
now they feel, symbolically, Ambassadors of the countries they lived in ours.
As proof of having acquired a rapprochement with other cultures, they will set
stands of countries such as Peru, Spain, Japan and Canada, during the
International Fest, which will take place the 9th of May, during the
International Business Conferences, which will have as the main topic: "The
Future Trends of International Business". In them, the 20 students of the
program will have a special place to motivate their companions.
